Uncle Kelly got married today in a ceremony that included lots and lots of Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Later, he showed me some dance moves and I became a dancing machine.
Dad and I stopped in Cheyenne, Wyoming today (where the wind blows like nowhere else) and checked out this memorial that has Grandma Heying's name on it.
I took over the morning news meeting at the Wichita Eagle this morning. I got the feeling the editors were amused by my presence, but not so crazy about my story ideas.
It seems the heat dome that's rested over Wichita for the second consecutive summer has finally lifted. This mean more time outside, and that makes everyone happy.
This sinus issue is still getting the better of me, so it was back to the doctor today. The lab tech said that I probably wouldn't be smiling after a blood draw. I showed her.
Dad offered me everything to help me try and get my appetite back, including applesauce in a neat, squeezable bag. It was fun to squirt applesauce all over. Still didn't feel like eating it though.
