Who was that masked man?

Daddy caught a bug right before he went to Washington, D.C. on assignment but he couldn't wait to see me when he got home. Precautions were taken so that I wouldn't get sick too. He sure looks funny!

The Pizza Guys

I met two more boys today: brothers Weston (3 years) and Russell (13 months). Their mom was super-nice and brought super-delicious pizza for dinner. Or was it called supper? I guess it doesn't matter when you're like me and eat the same thing at every meal.

The Helen Institute of Art

My nursery is starting to turn into an art gallery, and since mom works at an art museum, I guess that comes as no surprise. So when I have a dirty diaper, I get changed underneath this Hans Hoffman-influenced masterpiece, courtesy of Aunt Kendra.

Shop Till You Drop

I went to Target today. Neat place, but isn't it a little soon for me to be shopping in this section?

Blind Date

I met a boy today. His name is Westley and he's a man of high energy. Really looking forward to seeing him again and sure am glad his parents brought him by.

Mr. Sandman

I'm off to Never-Never Land. At least I will be when someone with a camera stops bothering me.

Jealous Big Brother?

Before I was born, Spatz the Cat was Mommy's baby. Now he's lucky to get any laptime at all.

Tummy Time

Since I was a little on the small side when I was born, a couple of nice ladies came to my house today to see how I've been getting along.
They said I'm pretty much perfect (of course, I knew this already) but that I need a little bit of tummy time.
Being a baby sure is a breeze.

It's A Hard-Knock Life

Took my first spin in my fancy stroller at the park today. Anyone wanna guess what I did during that time?

"Here's Lookin' At You, Kid."

Two weeks old and photographic proof that I'm still cute.

Hail Yeah!

A big hail storm came though Wichita. We had tennis ball-sized hail, softball-sized hail and Helen's head-sized hail.

Fashion Sense.

Aunt Stacy knitted me a killer hat. But I was in no mood for modeling.

Who You Calling Fat?!

I gained five ounces. Enough with the scale, already!

Bet you didn't see this one coming, huh?

Look Out Below!

My dad has perfected a technique for burping me. What he doesn't realize is that someday this will result on me throwing up on mom.

Tangled Up In Red

Met my namesake today. Great Grandma Helen. She and Great Grandpa Schoen like to wear red. I have a red car seat. Coincidence?

Rollin' Down The Highway

I made my first long-distance car trip today. Headed out to see the relatives in western Kanas. Is this not the face of a good travel buddy?

Smaller Than A Small Bowling Ball.

I'm proud to report that on this day I came in at a whopping 5 lbs. 13. oz.

Splish, Splash

Had my first bath at home today. Damn I'm cute.

"Somebody Get Me A Doctor!"

I made my first trip to the doctor today. He concluded that I poop a lot. I guess that's why he gets paid the big bucks.

O'Pioneer!

I made my maiden voyage for home. It was in the back of a Buick, but by the looks of this silly bonnet I'm wearing, it might as well have been in the back of a covered wagon.
(Sept. 6. 2010)

"Hey There, Cowgirl."

My great-grandpa Schoen came to meet me. He's about 788, 923 hours old. I'm about 68. I'd say he's got a few hours on me.

Early Personality Traits

My parents kept me up well past midnight on my first day. Shame on them.

Here I Am!

Welcome to my blog! I'm a little slow getting started (about 18 days to be exact) but this blog will show me as I grow in my first year. I decided to come a little early into the world because I wanted to show everyone that I'll always be full of surprises.
