Visiting Virginia Beach

We took a side trip to see Great-Great Uncle Edwin. He's got a huge fish tank in his backyard!
(Dec. 26, 2014)

Merry Christmas!

Georgia, Baby Eleanor, and I were so excited to wake up and discover Santa had visited us!
(Dec. 25, 2014)

Family portrait

Looks like everyone brought their smiles, except me. I think this happened last time we all took a pic together.
(Dec. 24, 2014)

To D.C. for Christmas

I wonder who can fly faster: the nice Southwest Airlines pilot or Santa in his sleigh?
(Dec. 23, 2014)

New kitty friend

Aunt Jaime took all of her favorite kids to see the movie "Annie" today. But first, she had us all over for pizza, and that's where I got to play with her kitty Mara.

Christmas - Part I

Santa came to Lake Quivira and left me lots of presents.

It's not the first Christmas pageant where I used a little extra showmanship to get noticed.

Super snowfall

Before heading to preschool, I wanted to take my animals for a quick spin around the backyard.
(December 18, 2014)

Beauty and the Beast

Aunt Laura got me theater tickets to celebrate my turning four. I think this singing and acting thing looks like fun!
(December 17, 2014)

As seen on TV

So where will Mommy draw the line when it comes to Frozen merchandise? At buying me an Elsa-covered Snuggie for Christmas.

Typecasting

Considering my size, I was given the role of a mouse during a church Christmas pageant tonight. I gave an Oscar-worthy performance.
(Dec. 14, 2014)

A full day

Between birthday parties and Christmas parties, I put in a full workload.

Wheatshocker

I think this sideways look makes this Shocker hat look even better on me than it already does.
(Dec. 11, 2014)

Picking out a winner

Winter weather means drier air, which mean annoying things in my nose that Dad keeps telling me to leave alone.

Movie time

My classmates and I went on a field trip to the Warren Theatre today to see "Penguins of Madagascar.". The plot was basically as follows: A group of four secret agent penguins stop an octopus disguised as a mad scientist from making all penguins in the world into monsters. Oh. My. Goodness.

Big appetite

I couldn't shovel it in fast enough.
(Dec. 8, 2014)

Super Sunday

I topped off a busy day (visiting with Santa, touring the Christmas lights on St. Paul) with some delicious pizza (while stealing glances at a nearby TV set).
(Dec. 7, 2014)

The Gingerbread Man

Those elves looked like they were having lots of fun during the performance. Maybe some day I can sing and dance my way onto the stage.
(Dec. 6, 2014)

Roughhousin'

Just hanging out with Julian and tapping into my well of boundless energy.

Hiding behind the Christmas tree

My antics may be funny, but I've got to be careful because my Elf on the Shelf is always watching.
(Dec. 4, 2014)

Christmas costuming decisions

All I need to do is find one--just one--fabulous outfit that I'll wear again and again and again this holiday season.
(Dec. 3, 2014)

O Christmas Tree

I've got a little Christmas tree in my room, complete with unbreakable ornaments and lots and lots of lights.

Bagged myself a pretty nice Christmas Tree today.

Quiet time at Chili's

Just passing the time before the baby back ribs get here.
(Nov. 30, 2014)

November?

Couldn't ask for better weather for the waning days of November. Making the most of this Thanksgiving break with some playground time.
(Nov. 29, 2014)

Dual decorators

I took the low end and Lexi took the high side and together we decorated Grammie's Christmas tree in Missouri.
(Nov. 28, 2014)

Thanksgiving theft

At Thanksgiving dinner, I came up with a  plot to distract Dad, and then steal the strawberries off of his salad. I would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for that meddlesome camera.
(Nov. 27, 2014)

Caged animal

This little dog kennel provided the perfect setting for me to pretend to be a vicious cat.

Pre-Thanksgiving feast

Want to guess what a roomful of preschoolers are thankful for?

Feeding a hungry Guy

I had lunch with the Good Life Guy and his lovely wife Beth in Rose Hill today.

If Hephner's showed cartoons, I could stay there all day.

Patrick joined us for storytime tonight.

Cupcakery camouflage

After getting my haircut, I made a stop by the "cupcakery" to get a delicious dessert. They have a couch there that I blended right into.

Belated birthday gift

My neighbor Ava, a newly minted 6-year-old, sports the crown I gave her. I decorated it myself with lots and lots and LOTS of stickers.

Gingerbread villages are tasty

It used to be that gingerbread houses were only for viewing. New rule this year: you make it, you eat it.
(Nov. 17, 2014)

It's snowing!

I'm no longer a back seat sledder. For the first snow of the year, I loaded up Meow-Meow and Bunny in the best sled ever and pulled them around the backyard.
(Nov. 16, 2014)

Bedtime diversion

Just one more dance party around the room before it's time to get into bed.
(Nov. 15, 14)

Rock and Roll lifestyle

Julian and I laid waste to his room as though we were a couple of rock star destroying a hotel room.

Let the music do the talking

I helped Lexi look over her piano lesson book before she headed into the practice room.
(Nov. 13, 2014)

Tired shopper

I was in no shape for a trip to Lowe's tonight.
(Nov. 12, 2014)

Time to entertain the baby

Baby Eleanor Josephine loves an impromptu puppet show as much as I do.
(Nov. 11, 2014)

Back to ba(by)sics

Georgia wanted me to be the baby, so I gladly grabbed a binkie and hopped in the stroller.
(Nov. 10, 2014)

Playtime in the park

A little time outdoors in the fresh air does wonders for a couple of active kids like we are.
(Nov. 9, 2014)

Quality cousin time

I've only seen my new baby cousin on the computer screen so I decided it was time to see her in person.

"Fascinating Kitty Party"

I spent my whole evening playing with these adorable kittens. I set them up with disco lights and dance partners and then asked everyone to come see my "fascinating kitty party."
