A spoonful of sugar would probably keep me up all night. Fortunately, the amoxicillin I'm taking to knock out a pesky ear infection tastes plenty good on its own.
I criss-crossed South Dakota today for all kinds of family time. First up was the Heying family reunion in Hill City, followed by a gathering of the News down on the Missouri River. I was able to grab other people's mouths from both sides of Dad's family!
My cousin Travis gave me a ride through Montana's Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness today. All the excitement was so overwhelming, I had to take a nap back there.
Stopped and had a little picnic today in Buffalo, Wyoming while on the road to Montana. Me and dad drove 1100 miles over the last two days. I didn't complain or cry one single time, just like last time.
Dad and I started off our first Father's Day by hitting the road. This is no Rock n' Roll tour though, just a spin out to Colorado, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming to visit the fam. We're at Aunt Kim's house in Longmont, Colorado tonight. Off to Montana tomorrow to see Uncle Craig and the cousins. Rock on!
I visited Bluebird Arthouse today and stocked up on supplies to begin creating my masterpieces: crayons, a sketchbook and washable, non-toxic finger paints.

Tonight was my second visit to the beautiful Bartlett Arboretum. The hosts gently beseeched "all-white attire only" at the croquet party. I had the perfect white dress in my closet and amazingly it still fit.
If I came across a snake, sharp knives, poisonous mushrooms, rusty nails, an electric fence or dog poop, I'm sure I'd try and grab a hold of all of those things, too.
Today I (safely) grabbed a hold of nine months of age.
