Dr LeZotte is correct Helen. Also be pleased that you have a mother with fashion sense. Who know what you could end up looking like without that little bit of something. Heck! I would have slapped one of those big old bows on your head the very first day. Alas, your mother banned me from doing so. We're just glad to have these photos to catch every day of your growing up and all the adventures that come with those days.Happy 2nd day of the New Year!
Rejoice in this now Helen. At least the fashions are being discarded because you are growing "up" and not "out"! In 40 years this won't be the case...

A little piece of my heart breaks every time I discard clothes my girls no longer fit in. Sigh.
