That was my favorite book to read to Maddie at that age. The book is starting to fall apart as we've read it so much. And, you're right: this is so important! Maddie will sit up an hour past bedtime reading and looking at books by the light of a desk lamp in her room and carries about a dozen paperback books to bed with her. "Don't turn off my light," she'll plead. "I can't see my paper books!"
